With over 40 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant, I have built a strong foundation in financial planning, emphasizing tax-smart strategies. My journey began in high school, working alongside my mother, and continued after college at a regional CPA firm in Springfield, IL, before returning to our family practice in 1984. Since 1990, I have proudly led our firm, established in 1960 by my mother and grandfather, to offer comprehensive tax-advantaged financial planning and wealth management services.
My guiding principle has always been to make a positive impact on my clients' lives. Hearing them say, "I trust you; you have made such a difference in our family's lives," reaffirms my passion for this work. I am fortunate to work closely with my husband, Kevin, who shares my dedication to our clients. I have served on the board of directors for a national software company and currently serve on the Waterloo Country Club board and various boards for the Diocese of Belleville, IL. I have also volunteered for teen retreat programs such as Luke 18, Quest, and TEC through the Diocese.
Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends, golfing, dancing, but mostly, visiting our son and Granddaughter in Charleston, SC. I thrive on social interactions and always look forward to inviting one more person to the party – including you! I cherish the moments spent with family and friends and am always ready for one more dance.
